Vasamuset
Hello all my good friends. I apologize for the delay in the updates, but I have been SUPER busy (and not with work or 'arbetar' in Swedish). Anyway, when Cass arrived I decided to visit some of the museums and places in Stockholm that I hade been saving for her trip. The first is Vasa: a 17th century warship of the Swedish Royal Navy that has been pulled from the bottom of Stockholm harbour. She set sail for only about 10 Km before she toppled over because of a weight imbalance. Kind of a funny story, but VERY VERY cool nonetheless. This is the only 17th century ship to remain fully intact. It is in great shape because of the little amount of salt in the water here. I think it was pulled out @ the end of the fifties and has been on display ever since......anyway, please enjoy the pics

It used to be a lot more colourful, but has lost its colour from being sunk (obviously)

A couple of drunken sailors in a scale model of the inner cabin that they have on display........

Dont you know its bad luck to be on board Cass?!?!?! Dont you watch Pirates of the Carribean?!?!?!

The view enemies would have had when the gunports opened............
