Here is my friend Francico from Portugal on the left and my senior mentor from the Business School on the right. This was taken before we all went off together and had a nice dinner and yet another pub night.

The First Corridor Party.....WOW
Me & Veit (pronounced 'fight' in German). I think we are signing a German song here. I dont speak German. This party was pretty insane. They had their own smoke machines and strobe lights and everything. They really did go all out in this corridor. I still dont know who lives there though.......I tried to post the video I took, but I dont know how.........stay tunned for that.

First Snow Fall & Of Course..........Hockey

View of my building.......Forskarbacken 11My street.............I went to a hockey for the first time in Sweden last Sunday. It wasnt @ Globen, but I was able to see the Globe Arena. It is pretty impressive..........it really does look like a giant golfball.

We went and saw AIK play Bromia.........it is a VERY different game. They dont take slapshots!!! This was a 2nd division game, so I am looking forward to checking out a SEL game.

Orientation Week: Cont'd

For sports day Charlotte Elfgren (far left), the exchange co-ordinator took us running through the paths behind Lappis. Good exercise and a fantastic view. Craig insisted in wearing shorts in -10 weather.........jackass. His friends have never seen him wear pants back home so he cant send any pics home where he is wearing any.
Next we took a tour of Old Town. Here is a shot of the group @ a cafe in old town. Smile Abel........SMILE!!!!

Allhuset Pub Night

Lappis: Student Residence or National Park?????

Stockholm!!!!

This a big.......pole.......thing right in the middle of downtown Stockholm. It lights up into a light blue colour at night. I tried to get a pic of it like that but it didnt work.......I will keep trying though!
A natural history museum right next to residence. I have yet to visit it since I have been so busy with orientation week, but it is on my list.....

I just like this bird......they have a beautiful blue colour on their backs too that you cant see here. The squirrels are awesome too! They have long ears and kinda look like a mini fox.......hard to keep still to take a pic of though.

My Room
I have a single room in Lappis residence (La-Piss.....is how you say it lol). Pretty spacious and quiet........but the bed SUCKS! Ikea isnt living up to its rep thus far.

My bathroom. Notice: no tub. I basically just shower on the floor. O ya, my room didnt come with a shower curtain either, so it is gonna take some getting used to.......

Campus is on a national park in an area called Frescati. I have a very nice view from my window. The room didnt come with drapes, so I have some bed sheets strung up for now.
